Hire a chocolate fountain from Welsh Chocolate Fountains of Llanelli to round off your perfect wedding day in Wales. With all the guests congregating at the fountain discussing the days events whilst sampling mouth watering fresh fruits covered with melted Belgian chocolate, perrrfect!!!!

A majority of wedding couples choose to have one of our chocolate fountain rental packages at the evening reception as this ensures that all the wedding guests will get to enjoy the chocolate fountain and not just the day guests. We can have the fountain flowing for around three hours. The reason for this time period is to comply with current food hygiene legislation for buffet food being out at room temperature. The Bride and Groom can choose the three hour flowing period but the most popular flowing times are from 7.30 p.m until 10.30 p.m.

During this time period you and all your guests are made to feel welcome to visit the fountain as many times as they like. At the chocolate fountain they will be greeted and served by one of our friendly, uniformed attendants. Your guests will be asked to choose which items of dipping foods they would like to have placed onto a bamboo skewer resulting in a delicious kebab.

The kebab is then dipped under the curtain of melted chocolate by the attendant and served on a paper plate. We have found that it is better our attendants do it rather than the guests doing it for a number of reasons. The reasons being; our way is far more hygienic as guests will not be picking things up with their bare fingers and then maybe dropping the selected food item back into the bowl if they change their mind about the selected item. It prevents guests who are not familiar with chocolate fountains from accidentally splashing melted chocolate onto their new and expensive clothes. It also keeps the display looking clean and presentable at all times.

However, if there are guests who would really like to dip it themselves then we can show them how it is done first and then let them do it for themselves, after-all we do not want to take the fun out of it!!!

We usually arrive at least one hour prior to the fountain start time to allow us ample time to set-up should the speeches run overtime a little. Our normal cut off time is 10.30 p.m as previous experience has shown that come this time all the guests will have had enough time to visit the fountain on several occasions and just want to get on the dance floor to burn off some of those calories they have enjoyed consuming.

We have provided a number of chocolate fountains at weddings which flow from around lunch time, say 12 until 3 p.m. these times were chosen by the happy couples so that their guests would be able to enjoy the fountain and be kept occupied whilst the bride and groom are having their photos taken and doing all their other bits and pieces for the video company and the likes. This helped to fill the time before being asked to take their places in the main function room before the wedding breakfast is served. The afternoon fountains have gone down well as it has also helped to take the edge off everyone’s hunger pains as a lot of wedding breakfasts do not start until late afternoon.

One thing that I have noticed whilst talking to future brides at wedding fayres is that a lot of brides are worried about having chocolate fountains just in-case they get chocolate on their wedding dress. Fear not fair maidens as I have come up with the ideal solution…..a white plastic, disposable apron which fits nicely over the wedding dress…..simple but very effective!!!

Many couples choose to go abroad to get married these days and then hold a wedding party on their return. There are many different reasons for couples to choose to do it this way, one of the reasons is to cut the cost down as nowadays weddings are so expensive. A fountain hire package from us can be a very cost effective way of providing your party guests an absolutely delicious dessert. Please keep this in your mind when booking your wedding as you will not need to book a dessert. We have provided chocolate fountain hire packages for weddings all over Wales but we operate mianly in areas such as Llanelli, Swansea, Neath,Carmarthen, pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Glamoargan
