People love chocolate

Hello and welcome to my second Blog Posting. I have always loved chocolate myself, milk chocolate in particular but I had never given it a second thought until I started up my company, Welsh Chocolate Fountains and noticed how much people really do love chocolate.

When I did my first chocolate fountain for a wedding back in 2006 the reaction I had from people when they tasted the chocolate fountain was amazing and it really exited me. I was worried though that I only got this reaction because the chocolate fountain was a relatively new concept at the time and that those kinds of reactions would soon wear off. How wrong I was because still now at every event I provide a chocolate fountain at, the reactions on peoples faces are still exactly the same. The look of sheer delight and satisfaction on peoples faces as they have their first mouthful of the delicious melted Barry Callebaut Belgian chocolate really makes me enjoy my job so much because of how much pleasure I am bringing to the people at the wedding, school prom, birthday party or corporate function I am attending. The sounds of pleasure and compliments I get are very reassuring to me that people love chocolate, especially the chocolate that I use. Everyone looks so guilty when they see the melted chocolate flowing down the tiers of the fountain and are a little reluctant about trying it at first, for a number of reasons. They maybe on a diet and they have had their calories for that particular day, they maybe a little worried in-case some of the chocolate goes on their clothes or they may have heard some stories about vegetable oil being added to the chocolate but honestly when they have tried the chocolate, all their initial cares and worries go right out of the window and they are back for more and more of this delicious, satisfying product.

I wonder why it is that people love chocolate so much? I don't really know the answer but if something that tastes this good and makes people feel so good time and time again then surely it can't be bad for you as some critics would have you believe. I guess there is something in the addage, Everything in Moderation!!!

Time for me to end my little Blog now so I will end by saying Thank you to all you chocohollics and people out there who love chocolate and an even bigger Thank you to any body who has ever hired Welsh Chocolate Fountains. Have a good day and if you are feeling down, go and eat some chocolate.

The current global credit crunch is certainly taking it's effect on the wedding market in 2009. if you really want a chocolate fountain at your wedding party for you and all your guests to enjoy then don't worry as we can arrange some sort of monthly payment plan for you to spread the cost over a number of months. with a payment plan you will not be left with a big lump sum to pay off just before your special day. please ask us for details. don't compromise your big day, there is always a way!

It is now Easter 2010 and they tell us that the recession is over but it certainly does nt feel like it and all you hear about on t.v is about factory closures and job losses. This recession has also had a detrimental effect on the wedding industry as brides and grooms are either postponing their big day or have had to tighten their belts and try to keep the costs down. I think there have been less weddings this year than last year so the competition has been greater. The increase in competition must explain the increase in dirty tricks and under handedness displayed by one of my competitors who I obviously cannot name for legal reasons but I have given all my findings to the new ecrimes police department and they are looking into it, so hopefully they will be getting a knock on the door very shortly. By the way did anyone see the fight in the carpark of the Evening posts wedding fayre at the Liberty Stadium a few weeks ago? apparently a father and son who own a chocolate fountain company based in Swansea were fighting over a parking space with the owner of a fun casino company from Cardiff... what a great example of their so called professionalism, they must have thought it was match day!
I am writing this today because I am truly saddened at what depths people will lower themselves to to try to discredit others and to try to improve their own image. I know that the persons who I am writing this about will be reading this because they watch everything I do and try to spoil things for me, so I hope you are feeling terrible as you read this because you should do. This rival company has been making up fake hotmail addresses and registeringon bridal websites and other similar websites where you can leave testimonials for companies. When you sign up to these websites you are meant to create a profile and give some details about yourself but these people have not done that because they do not want people to know who they really are because of what they are doing. They are making up false statements about my company by pretending that they were at a function where I was meant to have supplied a chocolate fountain. They have said that I have been rude to guests and that my chocolate is awful. I know it is them who are leaving these comments because they never give the name of the bride or the name of the venue or the date of the function because they know that these things could be checked out and dismissed as lies. It is difficult to defend yourslef against lies like this and let's be honest about it, if you were a guest at a wedding and you did nt like the taste of the chocolate fountain would you bother to waste your time registering on a website just to leave a nasty comment, I doubt it very much.
They are very jealous of my high standards and instead of improving their own standards(because it means spending money and spending money means less profit for them) they try to blacken my name. For instance they only employ one person to stand there and hand out bamboo skewers to the guests, the guests are then allowed to pick up all the food items with their bare fingers and dip it themselves, I personally believe is very unhygienic and it makes a lot of mess and you simply cannot tell if that person has washed their hands after visiting the toilet.
Welsh Chocolate Fountains supply two attendants who actually serve your guests which is far more hygienic and cleaner. We only use a quality Belgian chocolate called Callebaut which has doubled in price over the last four years but I refuse to compromise on quality and lower my standards to save a few quid because I give my customers the best quality chocolate available on the market. Some of the other companies use chocolate which is half the price to the one I use and believe me you can tell the difference.
Sorry if I have bored you with all these details about my problems with a rival company but I just can't understand why they don't just get on with their own business instead of trying to sabotage mine. My philosphy is that there are lots of weddings out there on any given Saturday and we can't be at every one of them, that is just plain greed. Anyway, let's hope that the economy starts to pick up in 2010 and that there are more people in employment with more money in their pockets to spend on their dream wedding day and especially on a chocolate fountain to treat all their guests.

64K25KE64YGS

Hello to everyone I know and i would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has ever booked my company to provide them with a chocolate fountain for their special day. until now i have had no way of saying thank you to all the people i have met at wedding parties, engagementparties, birthday parties, school proms, christenings and other events. i have met a lot of people over the last three years, most of whom have behaved themselves impeccably others who have tried doing a "Vicar of Dibley" not so well behaved. no honestly though, i get asked at every single party by atleast one person if they can do a "Dawn French/Vicar of Dibley" come on, do you honestly think that it is okay to put your head in the fountain? it would be very unhygeinic to say the least and nobody would be allowed to eat from the fountain again should anyone ever be crazy enough to do it. that Dawn French gas got a lot to answer for!!!
When i left the Royal Navy three years ago and announced that i was going to start my own chocolate fountain company: Welsh Chocolate Fountains, most of the people i know thought that i had lost the plot but i would like to thank my wife Samantha and my family members who never doubted me and who have supported me throughout three difficult years. i say difficult for a number of reasons, i was leaving the Royal Navy after 23 years service, i was trained as an engineering technician and reached the rank of Chief Petty Officer. it was a difficult transition to make from service life to civillian life. i obviously upset a few people starting up a new chocolate fountain business as people don't like competiton but i say the more competition the better. competition keeps people on their toes and keeps you thinking new ways of improving the service you can offer to people. there are lots of potential customers out there, enough to go around us all, afterall nobody can spread themselves too thin on the ground by taking on too many functions on the same day!!! if you do then the qualityof service must be affected somewhere along the line and it will be watering down the personal service you can offer a customer. so to all of those people out there have helped me during my early years in business i would like to say a massive thank you! for the help and advice you have given me along the way. for those who have tried tripping me up i would also like to thank as you have made me wiser. I have always treated people the way I like to be treated myself and I am told by everyone around me that I am a people person and that is one of the reasons why I have built up a company name of which I am very proud of. I can hold my head up high in the morning as I treat people with respect. I try to give people a first class friendly service, a service that i would want for myself or for my family if i were looking to hire a chocolate fountain for a party. i also provide quality food products and a first class top quality chocolate which is called Barry Callebaut, i will not compromise on quality to save a cople of quid. my standards are extremely high, i guess this has a lot to do with my military service. and one motto i also believe in is: a clean ship is a happy ship!!!
I am down from my soap box now as i think i have rambled on enough for my first blog. i have no idea what is meant to go into a blog but i hope i haven t bored anyone. let me know if you would like to see a particular subject in a future blog. thanks to anyone who has ever hired my company and also to anyone who has helped me. best wishes for 2009.
