Hiring a chocolate fountain from Welsh Chocolate Fountains would be the perfect centre piece for your Christening party or Anniversary party.
With all the guests congregating at the fountain discussing how the baby had screamed when the vicar anointed the baby with cold water or where have all those 25 or 50 years gone, whilst sampling mouth watering fresh fruits covered with melted Belgian chocolate, perfect!!!
Over the last few years we have provided chocolate fountains and beverage fountains at many such events at some of the finest hotels and venues all over Carmarthenshire, Glamorgan and Pembrokeshire. Anniversaries and christenings are really special family gatherings and what better way to celebrate such special moments than with a chocolate fountain.
If you are worried about children & or guests getting chocolate all over themselves then fear not as we provide two attendants to actually serve your guests so nobody has to do it for themselves. I am not saying that nobody will get it on them but we certainly reduce the risk of it by doing it this way.
So when your guests are making their grand entrance they can be greeted by the sight of a large 5 tired chocolate fountain on an illuminated base and the aroma of melted chocolate, sensational.
Remember chocolate makes people happy so what better way to start a celebration off. You could also have a beverage fountain flowing for your guests to enjoy a welcome drink on arrival.
Additionally you could have champagne, cava, mulled wine or even a non alcoholic drink (perhaps squash for the children) flowing in this type of fountain.
We can have the chocolate fountain flowing for up to three hours. The reason for this time period is to comply with current food hygiene legislation for buffet food being out at room temperature.
You can choose the three hour flowing period but the most popular (evening) flowing times are from 7.30 p.m until 10.30 p.m. During this time period you and all your guests are made to feel welcome to visit the fountain as many times as they like to.
At the chocolate fountain they will be greeted and served by one of our friendly, uniformed attendants. Your guests will be asked to choose what selection of dipping foods they would like to have placed onto a bamboo skewer resulting in a delicious kebab.
The kebab is then dipped under the curtain of melted Belgian chocolate by the attendant and served on a paper plate. We have found that it is better our attendants do it rather than the guests doing it for a number of reasons. Our way is far more hygienic as guests will not be picking things up with their bare fingers and then maybe dropping the selected food item back into the bowl if they change their mind about the selected item.
It prevents guests who are not familiar with chocolate fountains from accidentally splashing melted chocolate onto their new and expensive clothes.
Lastly it keeps the display looking clean and presentable at all times.
We usually arrive at least one hour prior to the fountain start time to allow us ample time to set-up. Our normal cut off time is 10.30 p.m as come this time all the guests will have had enough time to visit the fountain on several occasions and just want to get on the dance floor to burn off some of those calories they have enjoyed consuming.
A fountain package from us can be a very cost effective way for your guests to enjoy an absolutely delicious dessert.
Please keep this in your mind when booking your function as you will not need to book a dessert.
The more guests there are the more cost effective it becomes.
